Industry Involvement

CBIZ Adventure Sports is an active member of a number of organizations dedicated to the adventure and outdoor sports industry. As adventure seekers ourselves, we love what we do. America Outdoors Association

America Outdoors Association (AOA) is a national trade association established in 1990 with the merger of the Western River Guides Association and the Eastern Professional River Outfitters Association. AOA represents the interests of over 550 professional companies that provide a wide range of outdoor recreation services and outdoor equipment to more than two million Americans each year. Members operate in 43 states and 50 foreign countries. Member companies offer whitewater raft trips, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding and horse packing, camping, hiking, fishing trips, bike tours, dude ranches, and a variety of other outdoor recreation services.

The Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association (IOGA) represents the majority of the state’s full-time licensed outfitters and guides. Members are primarily small, independently owned businesses offering guided hunting, fishing, river running, trail riding, hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, snowmobiling, and guest ranch trips.

Colorado River Outfitters Association

Colorado River Outfitters Association (CROA) is a trade association representing approximately 50 licensed professional river rafting outfitters that specialize in providing outstanding outdoor adventures for families and individuals of all tastes and capabilities. The organization’s mission is to promote rafting in Colorado and provide a reasoned voice on legislative, regulatory, and other developments that affect the commercial rafting industry, the health of local rivers, and Colorado’s tourism economy as a whole.
